Concept Statement
When it comes to having fun, the Central Coast knows how to do it right.
This classic surf and wine event celebrates the best of San Luis Obispo County. Combining the fun, laid back atmosphere of our wine country and unique surf culture, enjoy four days of unforgettable events evoking the magic of wine and waves. These events take place at numerous scenic venues throughout San Luis Obispo County. All proceeds go to support the Association of Amputee Surfers (AmpSurf). WW&B was able to raise $10,000 for AmpSurf in its first year, and continues to help support this amazing organization.

Surf Movie Premiere

Help us kick-off the Wine, Waves, & Beyond weekend and join us for the Surf Movie Premiere at the Fremont Theatre in San Luis Obispo. Doors open at 6:00pm and movie will start at 7:00pm sharp! There will be a raffle before the start of the movie in support of AmpSurf, so bring all your friends out for a great night and even greater cause.

“Barrel to Barrel”

Is there anything better than kicking off your weekend tasting local wine, beer, & food out on a cliff overlooking the ocean?....we don't think so. Come to the Barrel to Barrel event at The Cliffs in Pismo Beach and experience just that. Back by popular demand, Chica Rica will be putting on their Bikini show once again. Come enjoy Friday night with us and help support AmpSurf. There will be a silent auction including donations from local businesses as well as the wineries and breweries throughout the county.

Firestone Walker Brewing Company is once again pouring for our featured Brew Masters event! Five Chefs from around the county will create 5 delicious meals each paired with a different Firestone Brew. Space is limited so make sure you sign up soon! Not only will the chefs prepare your meal, but they will auction themselves off for charity. If you are so lucky to take home one of these chefs, they will prepare a meal for you and 3 guests! All of the proceeds from the auction and dinner will benefit the Association of Amputee Surfers (AmpSurf). Whether you want to bid, or just enjoy an amazing meal, this is the event for you.

Longboard Surf Contest

Rise and shine on Sunday, June 3rd for the 3rd Annual Wine, Waves, & Beyond Longboarding Competition. Last year we had an amazing local turnout and we know 2012 will be even better. Not only will there be men and women's heats, but a Challenged Athletes heat and exhibition Winemakers heat once again. All proceeds benefit the Association of Amputee Surfers. Awards for contest will be announced at 4pm at the block party in the Addie St. parking lot.
There will be classic VW's, music, & BBQ for everyone to unwind with at the end of the day. Come relax and watch the sun set to finish up the event weekend.
Listed below are the divisions for the contest. Prizes will be awarded for 1st-3rd place. 1st place prizes are handmade glass trophies by artist Ted Emrick.
Beach entries will be accepted until the contest starts at 7am. No Beach Entries after 7am.Divisions:

9am - 10:00am Meet & Greet
10am – 11:00am Cruise thru Pismo Beach Area
11am to NOON Display starts (Position cars and decorate)
12 to 2:30 pm Spectator Judging
3:30 pm VW Awards
Alongside the surf contest, there will be a vintage VW display (Buses, Bugs and More) at the Addie Street parking lot, right next to the beach. VW enthusiasts from up and down the coast will come to show off their cars, while spectators vote on their favorite. Vintage Volkswagen owners are encouraged to go all out for the following themes:
